Ray White Koomooloo

A classic timber ocean racing yacht with a varnished mahogany hull, Koomooloo won the 1968 Sydney Hobart on corrected time and twice represented Australia at the Admiral’s Cup.

She was restored to her best prior to last year’s Rolex Sydney Hobart Race and has since been heavily campaigned by Don Freebairn and son Mike including Hahn Premium Race Week. Geelong Week in January and the Sydney Mooloolaba Race in March. She is the oldest boat in the fleet and one of two Queensland entries.
