Wot Yot

This Nelson/Marek 52, also referred to as a Transpac 52, was launched in 2001 as Glory before changing hands for her second TP52 world championship where she competed as Yassou. After winning the Premier Cruising Division at Hamilton Island Race Week last year with his Sydney 47 CR Wot’s Next, Graeme Wood upgraded to race competitively in the IRC fleet and is now running a two boat campaign. Wot Yot finished second in this year’s Audi Sydney Harbour Regatta and 11th overall in its first Rolex Sydney Hobart back in December. The two TP52s (Bob Steel’s Quest is the other TP52) will go head to head for the first time in the Audi Sydney Gold Coast.  Wood and Steel will be hoping for running and reaching conditions, the ideal conditions for these downwind fliers.
