Secret Men's Business #1

Secret Men's Business #1

Secret Mens Business #1 was designed by Iain Murray and built in 1996 by Bolton Yachts in Adelaide for original owner Geoff Boettcher.  She competed up and down the east and south coast of Australia with its best result being a 3rd in division in the 2003 Rolex Sydney Hobart. SMB was overhauled in 2002 with a new MBD keel and swept spreader carbon rig with short-footed headsails, with a bow pole added in 2007. The current owners bought the boat late in 2006 and race out of RPAYC on Pittwater and always have a great mixture of young and old crew aboard.  SMB #1 has finished 2nd in Division 1 Coffs Harbour Series 2007 and 2nd in IRC and 1st PHS in the Bird Island Race in the 2007/08 Blue Water Series. She also competes regularly in the CYCA’s Blue Water Pointscore Series, Sail Port Stephens, Hamilton Island Race Week and of course Audi Sydney Gold Coast Yacht race.
