The Banshee (formerly Terra Firma) is a MBD41 that has competed in ten Rolex Sydney Hobarts, winning overall in 1995. New owners Rob and Corinne successfully campaigned The Banshee to a third place in PHS Division 1 in the 2011 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. In last year’s Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race, the boat finished fifth in the PHS Division. More recently, The Banshee won Cronulla Sailing Club’s Navigator’s Cup. The crew are a mix of experienced offshore sailors and young talent who are all hoping for plenty of action of the race track.
