Kerazy

Kerazy

Kerazy is a Ker 11.3 one design built and raced with excellent outcomes in the UK as ‘I-Site’ before Glenn Tailby had her shipped to Australia. She has since been refurbished and is currently racing out of the RPAYC. Her name is derived from the designer’s name and this will be her first foray into the 384 nautical mile race to the Gold Coast. Rob Curtis is best known for racing Secret Mens Business #1 (originally owned by Geoff Boettcher), with which he had mixed success before she was sold and moved to Bunbury in late 2013. Curtis bought a share in Kerazy and says the design has proved fast. “Glenn had it refurbished and we’re out to give the race a good go. I think we have a slightly better platform than Secret Mens Business, which you had to sail to the max the whole race to live up to its handicap.”
