The latest from the Noakes Sydney Gold Coast fleet.

Wild Oats X maintains her lead over the 2019 Noakes Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race fleet as they make their way up the NSW north coast, off Nambucca Heads. No Limit and Chinese Whisper are in reaching distance, just three and five nautical miles behind respectively.

Yet, it is the TP52s Ichi Ban and Envy Scooters who are fourth and fifth currently for line honours, while Naval Group sits just slightly further behind.

The TP52s are holding their lead at the top of the IRC standings, where Envy Scooters has sailed a great last eight hours and has taken the lead overall. The TP52 fleet are bunched together only a few nautical miles behind Wild Oats X with approximately 176nm to go before reaching the finish line of Main Beach at the Gold Coast. David Suttie's Pekljus is currently leading the PHS fleet over Mahligai.
