AFR Midnight Rambler
Heading into the Gold Coast Race, Ed Psaltis’ Farr 40 AFR Midnight Rambler is sitting in second place in the Tasman Performance Series of the Club’s Blue Water Championship for 2005/6 with this race the final of the seven race series.
Ed Psaltis and Bob Thomas have achieved many successes over the years including 1st in division in last year’s Sydney Gold Coast and 1st in division in the Sydney Mooloolaba Race the year before. Another good result in the Rolex Sydney Hobart last December with a 3rd in division, the owners’ best result in that event an Overall win in the stormy 1998 race with their previous AFR Midnight Rambler.
