Mean Machine

Mean Machine

A Mumm 36 built by Cookson in New Zealand, Mean Machine was part of the winning Dutch Team at the Admiral’s Cup in 1999 when she was owned by well known Dutch yachtsman Peter De Ridder. Campaigned by Chris Rabbidge since 2003, the boat has been extensively modified to suit IRC and in anything except headwinds, Mean Machine could give many larger yachts a scare. Her best results under Rabbidge’s charge include a 3rd in division in the 2004 Gold Coast Race.
