In December last year Syd Fischer contested his 39th race Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race as skipper of his own boat and the Audi Sydney Gold Coast marks the start of his 45th season of ocean racing. Over the years the champion Farr 50 has notched up a 2nd and 3rd Overall in the Rolex Sydney Hobart for Fischer, a multiple winner of the CYCA’s Blue Water Pointscore Series.
