Yendys

Geoff Ross’ Reichel/Pugh 55 Yendys, the first grand prix yacht out of McConaghy International’s boatyard in China, was launched just prior to the Rolex Trophy (finished second in division) and Rolex Sydney Hobart last December. There should be a good tussle for top IRC handicap placings amongst the 45-55 foot range including XLR8, Hardys Secret Mens Business, the two Transpac 52s, the Cookson 50 Quantum Racing, the Corby 49 Limit, the new Rogers 46 Shogun and Yendys. Yendys finished third in division in the Audi Sydney Southport Yacht Race and with its highly experienced crew is expected to notch up another podium finish in the Audi Sydney Gold Coast.
