This is another brand new Beneteau First 40 making her ocean racing debut in this race. Owner Ted Tooher believes this boat is ready to start collecting the silverware for races along the eastern seaboard. The skipper’s motto is Never Dare, Never Do and encourages those who want a challenge or a new to offshore sailing to race with Chancellor. Tooher’s previous Chancellor, a Beneteau 40.7, had a strong offshore racing pedigree including five Rolex Sydney Hobarts and four Audi Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Races. She has been retired to sailing training and cruising under the new name of Vice C.
