Mr Kite

Mr Kite

Launched in 2005 and upgraded in 2009 Mr Kite has a carbon hull with canting keel and composite rig. Mr Kite claimed the line honours win in the 2009 and 2010 Launceston to Hobart yacht race and also in the 2009 and 2011 Maria Island yacht race.

This is the first voyage north in several seasons for Andrew Hunn with Mr Kite, although he raced in the Farr 40 world championships in Sydney last year with his other racing yacht, Voodoo Chile. In 2007, Hunn received the Noakes Trophy for the first boat 40 foot and under to cross the finish line in the Audi Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race.
