Frantic
Finished 38th overall in the 2015 race, then retired from the Hobart with a torn mainsail, but repaired, finished sixth in Division 1 in the 2016 NSW IRC Championship. Mick Martin says he is again looking forward to seeing plenty of TP52s, Cookson 50’s and the Rogers 46 coming out to play, and to having fun in the sun. And he will see all: Nine TP52’s – a record – two canting Cookson 50s and one fixed keel – and the Rogers 46. The ex Wallabies winger placed 15th overall in the 2015 Blue Water Pointscore. He bought the former Strewth from Geoff Hill in 2012 and has enjoyed competing at major regattas on the eastern seaboard. His best major result remains winning IRC and ORCi overall in the 2013 Gosford-Lord Howe Island race, with third on line and finished fourth overall last year. That race has since been cancelled.
