Cleopatra
Cleopatra is a Mumm 30 that was built in 2001 and is based at the Sandringham Yacht Club. Owned by Rob Davis since March 2007, she has competed along the east coast of Australia with her best result being placing 6th at the 2008 Mumm 30 National Championships, and 7th in the Performance Racing Division of the 2007 Hamilton Island Race Week.
Earlier this year she also raced in the Pittwater – Coffs Harbour Race and completed the race placing 23rd in the IRC Overall division. Rob Davis (skipper) and Mark Jackson (Tactician & long time crew member) are both previous National Champions in the International OK Dinghy Class; and crew member Warwick Hill is the current Junior National Champion of the Olympic Finn Class and was previously an Australian Youth representative in the Laser Class 2005.
Cleopatra and her crew are looking forward the to race north as she is extremely exciting to sail, and is capable of keeping up with many 50 footers in a downwind blow.
