The 2013-2014 season was a good one for Dennis Cooper and his Sydney 36CR Amante – they achieved their best result to date in the Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race - a third in IRC Division 4 and followed this up with a second in division in this year’s Pittwater to Coffs Harbour Yacht race.

Cooper has campaigned Amante in eastern seaboard regattas and offshore races since launching the yacht in 2006. Other notable results include second in division in the 2009 Sydney Offshore Newcastle Yacht Race and second in division in the 2007 Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race. In the 2010 Gosford-Lord Howe Island race she was one of less than half the fleet to complete the race after securing second place the year before.
