XS Moment

 

Earlier this year, XS Moment finished 12th on line and 14th in IRC Division 1 of the Pittwater to Coffs Harbour race. She also finished 12th in the IRC division of the Coffs Offshore Series and 14th in division in the Lion Island Series.

This Niels Jeppesen XP44 design will have a competition within a competition with three of her club rivals in this race: Pretty Woman, Le Billet and Occasional Coarse Language One. She finished fourth to the trio in this year’s RPAYC Blue Water Pointscore Series and has proven to be a quick and good all-round boat. She finished 12th in IRC Division 3 in last year’s Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race.

Hudson purchased the yacht in November 2011, moving up from his X-442, Next Moment, which he campaigned for over five years, with a most memorable result of PHS division second in the 2008/2009 Pittwater to Coffs Harbour Series.
